M4H P52 : Week 6
[HAPPY]
The tagline Shelby Leigh Photography uses is, “Captured in the Moment. Cherished Forever.” Moments just like this! For the M4H P52 Project this week, which was actually two weeks ago since I’m a bit behind, I used the image below…and I think it’s so obvious why! My little guy. I never knew what joy and happiness he (a BOY!) could bring to my life…but he has, and so many people are blessed because of that sweet smile and amazing loving personality. He’s the smallest lil’ guy in his class…well, all of his classes…but I don’t think he tends to notice. He is so big and beautifully spirited with his heart and love for people. I’m so blessed to call him mine and pray that happy spirit is never taken from him!
Now, I know this image isn’t technically perfect…it’s a bit blurred and the SOOC coloring was way off. Shooting in yellow light indoor situations is not my forte! But this project is for ME…and I personally think the expression overshadows all of the technical photography aspects I usually aim for!

I had intended to take the theme “happy” in an entirely different direction, either waiting for a “perfect” moment or planning on snapping something that makes me happy. As it turns out, not planning a “happy” moment was so much more perfect! This is my lil’ guy at his Valentine’s Party at Pre-K…his shirt says, “Hello Ladies” and he’s playing a dancing game with all the girls! He’s my “little” guy…most of the kids tower over him, but he has the biggest and most joyful personality, and I pray that’s never taken from him! Captured at a perfect moment, where his eyes met Mommy’s, and he was so excited I was there to join in the fun (and yes, he pulled me over to dance with him shortly after this!) LOVE HIM!!
