Allow Shelby Leigh Photography, LLC document your newborn’s Birth Story through her artful vision and love for storytelling. You only have this special moment once, and Shelby is there to capture every sweet moment, from the first cry, the first hugs and kisses, first baths and so much more. Since these sessions are so unique and are difficult to officially “schedule,” we will only schedule a few sessions throughout the year. While every Birth Story is a unique experience, Shelby documents everything from active labor through weighing baby, gently guided family poses and candids, and sometimes, even the first bath!

Birth Stories include:

Consultation throughout the last 2-3 months of pregnancy
Shelby will be “on call” starting at 37 weeks
Documentation starting with active labor
Approximately 300 high resolution digital images – mostly in Black and White
Typically up to 5 hours of shooting
Print Release

** Payment is non-refundable under any circumstance. The payment is also non-transferable to another person once scheduled. While this session can be purchased as a Gift, please contact Shelby Leigh Photography, LLC immediately after purchase to verify and give the name of the recipient.  

Birth Stories are for the Expectant Mother and Immediate Family. Client must also verify with specific hospital or birthing facility, and the doctor, the acceptance of a photographer in the room. No specific shot is guaranteed. Shelby Leigh Photography, LLC will make all possible efforts to be present for the delivery, but detailed communication will be required on the part of the purchaser/expectant mother. Additional details and a contract will be sent and a signature will be required. By purchasing you are agreeing to all the terms above. You are responsible for contacting me to schedule your session; while I hope to contact you within 72 hours of purchase, please note that this is a small business, and other personal needs may require my attention. Send an email to [email protected] when you are ready to schedule. Out of courtesy for my time and other commitments, please give me at least a 3 month notice for when you’d like to be scheduled.
